GhostLabs uses minimal cookies and browser storage. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or fingerprinting scripts. This page explains exactly what is stored in your browser when you visit our site.

What We Store

localStorage

We use your browser's localStorage to remember your cookie consent preference. This is a small key-value pair stored locally on your device. It never leaves your browser and is not sent to our servers.

• Key: consent preference (whether you accepted or declined the cookie banner)
• Purpose: so we do not show you the same banner on every visit
• Duration: persists until you clear your browser data or revoke consent

sessionStorage

We use sessionStorage to hold UTM parameters (such as utm_source and utm_campaign) for the duration of your browsing session. This helps us understand which channels bring visitors to our site.

• Purpose: attribute your visit to the correct marketing channel
• Duration: cleared automatically when you close the browser tab
• Scope: never shared with third parties

Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics tool. Plausible does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track you across websites. All data is aggregated and anonymous. No information is stored in your browser by Plausible.

Third-Party Services

Cloudflare Turnstile: On pages with forms (such as quote requests), we use Cloudflare Turnstile for spam protection. Turnstile may set a short-lived cookie to verify that you are a real visitor. This cookie is scoped to the form interaction and is governed by Cloudflare's privacy policy.

We do not use any other third-party cookies or tracking services.

Managing Cookies

You can control cookies and storage through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:

• View and delete cookies and site data
• Block cookies from specific sites
• Clear localStorage and sessionStorage

Disabling storage will not prevent you from using our site, though the consent banner will appear on each visit.
